Everyone is welcome at ASUO’s bi-annual faire, which brings the campus community together in support of food and fun. Proceeds from registration fees help to fund student food security.
The Fall Faire is scheduled to occur on October 7, 8, and 9, 2020. Vendors, campus affiliates, and ASUO-Recognized Student Organizations are welcome to participate. The application and faire information will be available in August.
Participate as an Exhibitor
ASUO’s bi-annual Street Faire is coordinated by students. Student organizers and volunteers gain valuable hands-on experience in event planning, communication, and management.
- No two fairs are alike—communication standards and selection priorities from one fair may not carry into future fairs.
- The ASUO Street Faire adheres to state and local regulations related to outdoor activity.
Food and craft vendors are selected several weeks prior to each faire, and are required to pay a participation fee. Application rates may vary from one faire to the next. Non-profit organizations may participate at a reduced rate.
Information specific to the upcoming fair is published on this website in late August (for the Fall Faire) and late January (for the Spring Faire).
Participate as an ASUO-Recognized Student Organization
ASUO-Recognized Student Organizations are encouraged to share information about their club’s mission with the university community by hosting a table. This is also a great opportunity to recruit new members.
Tabling takes place in designated spaces adjacent to the faire, and tables are provided for you. ASUO waives the application and the tabling fee so that ASUO-Recognized Organizations may participate at no cost.
Recognized organizations must complete an application. Because participation is determined several weeks in advance of each faire, we strongly recommend that recognized organizations adhere to the application deadline.
Volunteer with Us
Street Faire would not be possible without the assistance of community members. Opportunities for individuals or groups are available before, during, and after each faire. Please complete a volunteer interest form and a member of the ASUO’s Street Faire planning team will reach back to you in advance of the faire.
Campus Affiliate Participation
University of Oregon Departments, academic units, and registered clubs and organizations are welcome to participate at a reduced price. Opportunities include tabling near the EMU, or requesting a site on 13th Street in the heart of the faire. ASUO waives the application fee for UO-affiliated organizations.
Campus affiliate participation is determined several weeks in advanced of each faire; please adhere to the application deadline.
