The Campus Recycling Program provides on campus recycling and waste reduction services at over 2000 campus locations. The program creates waste reduction opportunities such as the campus Reusable Office Supply (ROSE). They support waste reduction activities at campus events and encourages campus environmental efforts through education and promotion. Student opportunities include: work study positions, volunteer opportunities and academic internships.

The Career Center provides services and information resources that enable students to take active responsibility for their career decisions and job search. They equip students with the ability to make career plans by facilitating awareness of their work-related strengths, interests, values, and understanding of the world of work. The Center prepares students for finding suitable employment by enhancing their job search skills and capacity to express the relevance of their strengths to employers. They also foster relationships with the employer community, provide students with opportunities to develop professional skills and integrate academic learning with work. Their interactive website helps those searching for employment.

The Mentoring Program is a career exploration class, operated through the career center. It provides students with the opportunity to be matched with two professionals from career fields of interest for the purpose of an informational interview. These mentor interactions allow students to discover the intricacies of particular career choices, to begin or expand professional networking opportunities, and to gather advice to succeed in a given field. The class also addresses resume and cover letter writing, informational interviewing strategies, and the basics of career planning. Sections are offered each term during the regular academic year in a range of departments for upper division credit. Check the online schedule of classes under the subject "CARC-Career Center" for current availability.

Conflict Resolution Services

Jointly funded by the ASUO and the Office of Student Life, Conflict Resolution Services (CRS) provides mediation and facilitation services to students, faculty and staff. The primary purposes of CRS are to provide the campus community a resource for resolving conflicts in a constructive and collaborative environment; and to provide educational opportunities related to communication and conflict resolution.

Disability Services Project

The Disability Services Project was established seventeen years ago with the intent of providing support to students with disabilities at the University of Oregon. Currently, about 600 students receive some type of support whether it be personal assistance, help with writing, typing, special projects, adaptive technology utilization and training or learning disability diagnostic testing. They also host awareness activities provide information to the University community.

Rec Sports

Recreational Sports programs provide opportunities for university community members to enjoy competitive yet informal sports and relaxing recreational activities which promote lifelong physical mental, and social well-being. These opportunities include all-campus tournaments, intramurals and special events. Popular activities include basketball, flag football, golf, indoor soccer, softball, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, and wrestling. Recreational Sports also offers aerobics classes without academic pressure such as step aerobics, kickboxing, hip hop, body sculpting and group cycling.
