Budget Process and Schedule
Dates and Deadlines
- Student programs must submit a benchmark memo to the PFC by 5 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2008, regardless whether their planned 2008-09 budget proposal will be higher or lower or the same as their 2007-08 budget. Submit the memo to the ASUO Controller’s Office, Suite 4 Erb Memorial Union.
- Budget Proposals
- Contracted services and department-based programs under $117,000 may start submitting their proposals on Monday, November 3, 2008, but NO LATER THAN 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2008.
- Student programs whose total budgets are less than $7000 may start submitting their proposals on Monday, November 3, 2008, but NO LATER THAN 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2008.
- Student programs whose total budgets are $7000 or greater may start submitting their proposals on Monday, November 10, 2008, but NO LATER THAN 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2008.
- Contracted services and department-based programs over $117,000 may start submitting their proposals on Monday, November 10, 2008, but NO LATER 5:00pm on November 12, 2008.
Noe: Contracted Services will be handled by the Athletics and Contracts Finance Committee (ACFC), while Departments will be handled by the Departments Finance Committee (DFC),
